RAMBO (update)
Saw this movie last night. Must go see it ASAP. I will see this again. My review after the jump
Rambo IV or whatever, its just called Rambo. There is a Burmese civil war going on and Christian missionaries want to go and help the people who are being attacked. There are scenes of the Burmese army attacking villagers about 4 minutes into the movie. That totally ruled. It was super violent and people running over mines when they explode, they look like tomatoes getting smashed. Violence was comical and was so critical to the plot.
Half the weapons used were high caliber rifles and peoples heads were exploding, legs getting shot off, bodies mutilated with these guns. Thats where the comical violence ends. Rambo kills his first bad guys with a bow and arrow through the FUCKING HEAD. Totally unexpected and awesome. The way the movie is shot to expose maximum gore and it sucecceded. Cannot wait for the directors cut.
2 gripes about the movie:
- The Music: it was terrible! it was so corny and contrived, it sounded like 16 year old me when i made music.
- The camera work: it was all shaky, it was like cloverfield with Sly in it

judging by the gifs i’ve seen, i can tell this movie rules. in a really weird horribly violent way. quality review.
